About Age Again
Tonight I was reading a post from one of my fellow classmates about being behind in the classwork and the issues she is having and once again here I go. I used to catch on so quickly to new things. Now I need step by step directions for every step it appears. What’s up with that?????
I used to say, “You know you’re getting older when your boss is younger than you are. That was a few years ago and I got over it. Last week I went to see a new doctor. She was a very pretty young woman. I remember noticing it and being glad I didn’t end up having to see an old fart. Today I went to get my eyes checked. This doctor was another pretty young woman. I remember thinking back to the days when every doctor I saw was an old man. Hmmmm, then I figured it out. It isn’t the doctors getting younger, it’s me getting older. I guess I’m more concerned about this age thing than I thought I would be. http://behrlenyc.com/the-process/2009/04/testing-1-2-3/
It worked!
How did you do that??? That’s where I got stuck- I thought I figured it out, but no….
I love your moth photo, that’s one of those small common grey moths, isn’t it? It’s really beautiful your close up work is wonderful.

April 24th, 2009 at 10:42 PMThanks for the comment Carla. Didn’t you pingback one of my posts? Yours worked too. I didn’t know mine worked. When I checked earlier the comment wasn’t on your post.
April 24th, 2009 at 11:05 PMYou think this age thing goes away…..no it only gets worse….Trick to staying young is challenging the brain. The brain controls all of our functions and if the brain becomes idle….guess what happens —– the body starts to deline as well. It may take longer to learn a new task - however, if you keep learning and challenging the brain - new cells develop. We only use a small portion of our brain cells. Lets keep learning, living, laughing and stay away from the evening news regardless if it is CNN, MSNBC, FOX or local channels. Too depressing and a drain on the brain.
