DIY

I accidentally discovered a website called “Instructables”. It’s a site full of instructions on how to make stuff yourself. Some of the things are pretty bizarre but some of them are pretty good. One of the things I found there was a DIY ring flash attachment for the camera lens. Since I am not electrically inclined, Marylin’s husband, Bill was kind enough to make it for me. I have a few other things lined up to make but I took some test shots today comparing the built in flash on my 20D with shots using the ring flash. The time was about dusk. The link to the Instructables website is www.instructables.com for all of the do-it-yourself-ers out there.

These are wonderful shots……I love macros and I guess I will need to have Bill make me one of those beautiful lights. Great job.

That’s cool, I saw one somewhere as well that gave instructions on how to do one. I stop by the one you gave and it looks great. Did you like it ?
