a pedicure. Now that’s a Sunday night

The moth hung out on my door for hours. He had no fear of me or my camera, or he thought if he sat still enough I would go away without hurting him. I’ve hear when they just stay for that long of a time it means they are close to death. I hope not. He was a beautiful creature.

Once upon a time I couldn’t wait to be…

Even during those times of wishing I was older, I never thought about what getting older meant.

I never thought about getting wrinkles on my forehead

I never thought about getting wrinkles around my nose

I never thought about the drooping & frown lines around my mouth

I never thought I would be one of those people who “NEEDED” a face lift.

So when those aches and pains and lapses in memory start getting me down……I remember two of my favorite sayings

“Age is just a number” and “You’re as young as you feel”

It just seems like a part of life for me now. Having gone from low income to doing pretty well for

a person without a college degree and back again. Being a person who has never had the best success with a savings account. (ok so money burns a whole in my pocket). The “change” has come in handy many times. Just like others have said, it gets heavy in my purse, so at the end of the day, I throw all of the

change in my money vase. I don’t seem to have a problem leaving it th

ere until the time comes when I am down and out. The

coin rollers come out and I wait in anticipation to see how much “real” money is in the vase. Then I start all over again. I don’t have years of history behind my money vase like the Karol and “The Mug”,  but it still made me think of how important a simple thing can be in my life.

Here is the first image I have inserted into my blog. I changed themes once already but this one isn’t really what I was looking for either. I think ultimately I will need to learn how to self host a blog so I can make it look the way I want it to look.
